Loximed-200 is composed of Ofloxacin tablets of 200mg. This medication is an antibiotic and thus is used in the treatment of bacterial infections inside the body. This medication belongs to the class of quinolone antibacterial medications. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria causing an infection inside the body. It works by restricting the bacteria from multiplying by stopping the protein synthesis. And later removing them from the body.

Ofloxacin is an oral tablet and thus should be taken from the mouth preferably with food. It should not be used for treating any other infection inside the body such as viral infection, etc. Avoid taking any vaccination while on this medication. This would not allow the vaccination to introduce the body to that particular organism and build antibodies for the same. Thus making the vaccine ineffective in its functioning.

Make sure to tell your doctor about your entire medical history and about any medication that you are taking simultaneously. Also, tell your doctor if you have any allergies from the compositions of this medication or any other allergies in general. This is to ensure the efficacy of medicine on the patient’s body.
