MOXYLOC -LB| Amoxycillin Potassium Clavulanate and Lactic Acid Bacillus is a combination of antibiotics and probiotics that includes amoxicillin and potassium clavulanate. This medicine is used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections. It also helps in replenishing the beneficial bacteria that may have been killed due to antibiotic medication.
Mechanism of action
Amoxicillin is an antibiotic that belongs to the class of penicillin and it inhibits the synthesis of the bacterial cell wall, leading to the death of bacteria.
Potassium clavulanate is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that enhances the effectiveness of amoxicillin by protecting it from beta-lactamase enzymes.
