Doxylamine+ Pyridoxine+ Folic acid is a combination medicine that belongs to the class of medication called anti-emetics. The medicine is primarily used to treat nausea (feeling sick) and vomiting (being sick) during pregnancy. Also known by the name morning sickness, it is very commonly experienced by pregnant women. Nausea starts appearing in the 6th week of pregnancy and lasts up to 16 to 18 weeks. Some women report experiencing this nausea till the delivery of the baby. Doxylamine is an antihistamine that blocks the natural chemical (histamine) in the body that is responsible for nausea and vomiting. Folic acid is a type of vitamin B that provide essential nutrients during pregnancy. Pyridoxine is vitamin B6, whose deficiency may cause nausea and vomiting. It works by restoring the levels of vitamin B6 in the body and providing relief from nausea and vomiting during pregnancy.

Take the medicine as per the prescribed dosage and duration by the doctor. Do not crush, chew or break the tablets, swallow them whole with water.
